York Pi Jam will be taking part in Moonhack 2019!

We are super excited to announce York Pi Jam will be running a Moonhack Jam on the 20th July (a Saturday) to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing!

Again we will be hosting this event at Acomb Explore Library and we invite children aged 8-18 to have a go at making space-themed projects, it will be a lot of fun, and as ever free.

Remember children under the age of 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult, in line with our Safeguarding policy.

The Moonhack Mission Badge

The Moonhack Jam’s tickets haven’t been released yet, but all details of the event when we get them will be available on the July Jam page.

We hope to see as many people there as possible to have a go at coding space themed projects in Scratch, a child friendly block based programming language, and Python, a text based programming language. And as usual, the York Pi Jam and York Raspberry Jam team will be on hand to help you and your projects.
